सङ्कल्पञ्चैव धर्मञ्च पूर्वेषामपि पूर्वजम् ।
सनन्दनादयो ये च पूर्वं सृष्टाः स्वयंभुवा ॥७॥

7. saṅkalpañcaiva dharmañca pūrveṣāmapi pūrvajam .

And he (Brahmā) created resolve (saṅkalpa) and natural law (dharma), as well as the primeval progenitor of even the earliest beings. Moreover, those like Sanandana and others, who were created previously by the Self-born (Brahmā)...
