ततः कर्णं समुद्दिश्य त्वरमाणो धनंजयः ।
नाराचं क्रोधताम्राक्षः प्रैषीन्मृत्युमिवान्तकः ॥८६॥

86. Then Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna), swift and with eyes red from anger, aiming at Karṇa, shot an arrow (nārāca) as if Yama (antaka) himself were dispatching death.
