एवं तं विरथं कृत्वा कर्णो राजन्व्यकत्थत ।
प्रमुखे वृष्णिसिंहस्य पार्थस्य च महात्मनः ॥८०॥

pramukhe vṛṣṇisiṁhasya pārthasya ca mahātmanaḥ.

80. O King, having thus made him (Bhīma) chariotless, Karṇa boasted in the presence of Kṛṣṇa, who is like a lion among the Vṛṣṇis, and the great-souled Pārtha (Arjuna).
