महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-114, verse-82

ततः पार्थभुजोत्सृष्टाः शराः काञ्चनभूषणाः ।
गाण्डीवप्रभवाः कर्णं हंसाः क्रौञ्चमिवाविशन् ॥८२॥
82. tataḥ pārthabhujotsṛṣṭāḥ śarāḥ kāñcanabhūṣaṇāḥ ,
gāṇḍīvaprabhavāḥ karṇaṁ haṁsāḥ krauñcamivāviśan.

gāṇḍīvaprabhavāḥ karṇaṃ haṃsāḥ krauñcam iva aviśan
82. Then, the gold-adorned arrows, discharged from Arjuna's (Pārtha's) arm and born from the Gāṇḍīva bow, entered Karna, just as swans enter a Krauñca bird.
