महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-114, verse-12

ततः कर्णो महाराज पाण्डवं निशितैः शरैः ।
आजघानोरसि क्रुद्धः क्रुद्धरूपं परंतपः ॥१२॥
12. tataḥ karṇo mahārāja pāṇḍavaṁ niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
ājaghānorasi kruddhaḥ kruddharūpaṁ paraṁtapaḥ.

12. mahārāja,
tataḥ kruddhaḥ paraṃtapaḥ karṇaḥ kruddharūpam pāṇḍavam urasi niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ājaghāna
12. Then, O great king, Karna, himself enraged and the tormentor of foes, struck the angry-looking Pāṇḍava (Bhimasena) in the chest with sharpened arrows.
