महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-114, verse-45

अथास्याश्वान्पुनर्हत्वा त्रिभिर्विव्याध सारथिम् ।
सोऽवप्लुत्य द्रुतं सूतो युयुधानरथं ययौ ॥४५॥
45. athāsyāśvānpunarhatvā tribhirvivyādha sārathim ,
so'vaplutya drutaṁ sūto yuyudhānarathaṁ yayau.
45. atha asya aśvān punar hatvā tribhiḥ vivyādha sārathim
saḥ avaplutya drutam sūtaḥ yuyudhānaratham yayau
45. atha punar asya aśvān hatvā tribhiḥ sārathim vivyādha
saḥ sūtaḥ drutam avaplutya yuyudhānaratham yayau
45. Then, after killing Bhīma's horses again, (Karṇa) pierced his charioteer with three (arrows). That charioteer quickly jumped down and went to Yuyudhāna's chariot.
