महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-114, verse-43

तस्य तान्याददे कर्णः सर्वाण्यस्त्राण्यभीतवत् ।
युध्यतः पाण्डुपुत्रस्य सूतपुत्रोऽस्त्रमायया ॥४३॥
43. tasya tānyādade karṇaḥ sarvāṇyastrāṇyabhītavat ,
yudhyataḥ pāṇḍuputrasya sūtaputro'stramāyayā.

43. Fearlessly, Karṇa, the son of Sūta, by means of his proficiency in weapons, intercepted all those weapons of the battling Pāṇḍava (Bhīma).
