महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-76

अथाश्रु पतितं तेषां दीनानामवसीदताम् ।
ब्राह्मणानां हृते क्षेत्रे हन्यात्त्रिपुरुषं कुलम् ॥७६॥

76. Now, if their land is seized, the tears that fall from those distressed and sorrowful brahmins (brāhmaṇas) would destroy the family responsible for three generations.
