महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-36

अभिषिच्यैव नृपतिं श्रावयेदिममागमम् ।
यथा श्रुत्वा महीं दद्यान्नादद्यात्साधुतश्च ताम् ॥३६॥
36. abhiṣicyaiva nṛpatiṁ śrāvayedimamāgamam ,
yathā śrutvā mahīṁ dadyānnādadyātsādhutaśca tām.
36. abhiṣicyā eva nṛpatim śrāvayet imam āgamam yathā
śrutvā mahīm dadyāt na ādadhyāt sādhutaḥ ca tām
36. nṛpatim abhiṣicyā eva,
imam āgamam śrāvayet.

36. Having anointed the king, one should indeed make him hear this tradition (āgama). So that, having heard it, he may give away land, and not take it unjustly.
