महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-4

यावद्भूमेरायुरिह तावद्भूमिद एधते ।
न भूमिदानादस्तीह परं किंचिद्युधिष्ठिर ॥४॥
4. yāvadbhūmerāyuriha tāvadbhūmida edhate ,
na bhūmidānādastīha paraṁ kiṁcidyudhiṣṭhira.
4. yāvat bhūmeḥ āyuḥ iha tāvat bhūmidaḥ edhate |
na bhūmidānāt asti iha param kiñcit yudhiṣṭhira
4. yāvat bhūmeḥ āyuḥ iha,
tāvat bhūmidaḥ edhate yudhiṣṭhira,
iha bhūmidānāt param kiñcit na asti
4. As long as the earth's lifespan endures in this world, so long does the giver of land prosper. O Yudhishthira, there is nothing superior to the gift of land here.
