महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-35

पुनाति य इदं वेद वेद चाहं तथैव च ।
प्रकृतिः सर्वभूतानां भूमिर्वै शाश्वती मता ॥३५॥

35. punāti ya idaṁ veda veda cāhaṁ tathaiva ca ,
prakṛtiḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ bhūmirvai śāśvatī matā.

prakṛtiḥ sarvabhūtānām bhūmiḥ vai śāśvatī matā

35. yaḥ idam veda punāti,
ca aham tathā eva veda ca.

35. He who knows this purifies, and I indeed know it thus. The primal nature (prakṛti) of all beings is verily considered the eternal substratum.
