महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-84

मोदते च सुखं स्वर्गे देवगन्धर्वपूजितः ।
यो ददाति महीं सम्यग्विधिनेह द्विजातये ॥८४॥
84. modate ca sukhaṁ svarge devagandharvapūjitaḥ ,
yo dadāti mahīṁ samyagvidhineha dvijātaye.
84. modate ca sukham svarge devagandharvapūjitaḥ
yaḥ dadāti mahīm samyak vidhinā iha dvijātaye
84. And he who, in this world, properly gives land to a Brahmin (dvija) with due rites, rejoices happily in heaven, worshipped by gods and gandharvas.
