महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-61, verse-52

सुवर्णदानं गोदानं भूमिदानं च वृत्रहन् ।
दददेतान्महाप्राज्ञः सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते ॥५२॥
52. suvarṇadānaṁ godānaṁ bhūmidānaṁ ca vṛtrahan ,
dadadetānmahāprājñaḥ sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate.
