महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-290, verse-30

महतां भूतसंघानां श्रुत्वा नाशं च पार्थिव ।
गतिं चाप्यशुभां ज्ञात्वा नृपते पापकर्मणाम् ॥३०॥
30. mahatāṁ bhūtasaṁghānāṁ śrutvā nāśaṁ ca pārthiva ,
gatiṁ cāpyaśubhāṁ jñātvā nṛpate pāpakarmaṇām.

gatim ca api aśubhām jñātvā nṛpate pāpa-karmaṇām
