महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-221, verse-61

बालानां प्रेक्षमाणानां स्वयं भक्षानभक्षयन् ।
तथा भृत्यजनं सर्वं पर्यश्नन्ति च दानवाः ॥६१॥
61. bālānāṁ prekṣamāṇānāṁ svayaṁ bhakṣānabhakṣayan ,
tathā bhṛtyajanaṁ sarvaṁ paryaśnanti ca dānavāḥ.

tathā bhṛtyajanam sarvam paryaśnanti ca dānavāḥ

61. While the children watched, they (the Dānavas) themselves consumed the food. And similarly, the Dānavas devour all the servants.
