महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-221, verse-26

असुरेष्ववसं पूर्वं सत्यधर्मनिबन्धना ।
विपरीतांस्तु तान्बुद्ध्वा त्वयि वासमरोचयम् ॥२६॥
26. asureṣvavasaṁ pūrvaṁ satyadharmanibandhanā ,
viparītāṁstu tānbuddhvā tvayi vāsamarocayam.

26. Previously, I resided among the Asuras, bound by truth and natural law (dharma). However, having understood them to be contrary to this, I then desired to reside in you.
