अपविद्धास्तु यैर्वेदा वहनयश्चाहिताग्निभिः ।
त इमे शालशृङ्गाग्रात् पात्यन्तेऽधः पुनः पुनः ॥८१॥

But those who neglected the Vedas and the sacred fires (vahni) — those who were supposed to maintain the sacred fire (āhitāgni) — those very people are repeatedly thrown down from the top of a śāla tree.
