मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-14, verse-60

बद्धाङ्घ्रयस्ते निगडैलौहैरग्निप्रतापितैः ।
अङ्गारराशिमध्यस्थास्तिष्ठन्त्याजानुदाहिनः ॥६०॥
60. baddhāṅghrayaste nigaḍailauhairagnipratāpitaiḥ .
aṅgārarāśimadhyasthāstiṣṭhantyājānudāhinaḥ.
60. baddhāṅghrayaḥ te nigaḍaiḥ lauhaiḥ agnipratāpitaiḥ
| aṅgārarāśimadhyasthāḥ tiṣṭhanti ājānudāhinaḥ
60. Their feet are bound with iron fetters heated by fire. They stand amidst a heap of coals, burning up to their knees.
