मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-12, verse-98

शब्दः स्पर्शश्च रूपं च रसो गन्धश्च पञ्चमः ।
वेदादेव प्रसूयन्ते प्रसूतिर्गुणकर्मतः ॥९८॥
98. śabdaḥ sparśaśca rūpaṁ ca raso gandhaśca pañcamaḥ ,
vedādeva prasūyante prasūtirguṇakarmataḥ.
