महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-122, verse-78

आयसैः काञ्चनैश्चापि पट्टैर्नद्धं सकूबरम् ।
तारासहस्रखचितं सिंहध्वजपताकिनम् ॥७८॥
78. āyasaiḥ kāñcanaiścāpi paṭṭairnaddhaṁ sakūbaram ,
tārāsahasrakhacitaṁ siṁhadhvajapatākinam.
78. āyasaiḥ kāñcanaiḥ ca api paṭṭaiḥ naddham
sakūbaram tārāsahasrakhacitam siṃhadhvajapatākinam
78. (This chariot was) bound with iron and golden plates, equipped with a pole, studded with thousands of stars, and adorned with a lion banner and flag.
