महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-122, verse-26

नमस्तस्मै सुपूज्याय गौतमायापलायिने ।
धिगस्तु मम वार्ष्णेय यो ह्यस्मै प्रहराम्यहम् ॥२६॥
26. namastasmai supūjyāya gautamāyāpalāyine ,
dhigastu mama vārṣṇeya yo hyasmai praharāmyaham.
26. namaḥ tasmai supūjyāya gautamāya apalāyine dhik
astu mama vārṣṇeya yaḥ hi asmai praharāmi aham
26. supūjyāya apalāyine gautamāya tasmai namaḥ astu.
vārṣṇeya,
yaḥ aham hi asmai praharāmi,
mama dhik astu.
26. Obeisance to that greatly revered Gautama, the one who does not retreat. Shame upon me, O Vārṣṇeya, for I am indeed striking him!
