महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-120, verse-63

फल्गुनस्तु महाबाहुः कर्णं वैकर्तनं रणे ।
सायकानां शतेनैव सर्वमर्मस्वताडयत् ॥६३॥
63. phalgunastu mahābāhuḥ karṇaṁ vaikartanaṁ raṇe ,
sāyakānāṁ śatenaiva sarvamarmasvatāḍayat.

sāyakānām śatena eva sarvamarmasu atāḍayat

63. But the mighty-armed Arjuna struck Karna, the son of Vikartana (Surya), in battle with a hundred arrows, hitting all his vital spots.
