तानस्तानस्यमानांश्च किरीटी युद्धदुर्मदः ।
द्विधा त्रिधाष्टधैकैकं छित्त्वा विव्याध तान्रणे ॥४५॥

45. Arjuna, the crowned one, intoxicated by the fervor of battle, having cut each of those who had been hurled down and those who were advancing into two, three, or eight pieces, then pierced them in the combat.
