पात्रं त्वतिथिमासाद्य शीलाढ्यं यो न पूजयेत् ।
स दत्त्वा सुकृतं तस्य क्षपयेत ह्यनर्चितः ॥९२॥

But whoever, encountering a guest (atithi) who is a worthy person (pātra) and virtuous (śīlāḍhya), fails to honor him, that person, himself becoming unhonored (anarcitaḥ), indeed destroys his own merit (sukṛtaṃ) by giving it up.
