महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-2, verse-50

इत्युक्ता तेन विप्रेण राजपुत्री यशस्विनी ।
विधिना प्रतिजग्राह वेदोक्तेन विशां पते ॥५०॥
50. ityuktā tena vipreṇa rājaputrī yaśasvinī ,
vidhinā pratijagrāha vedoktena viśāṁ pate.
50. iti uktā tena vipreṇa rājaputrī yaśasvinī
vidhinā pratijagrāha vedoktena viśām pate
50. viśām pate tena vipreṇa iti uktā yaśasvinī
rājaputrī vedoktena vidhinā pratijagrāha
50. O lord of the people, thus addressed by that brahmin, the renowned princess received him with the ritual prescribed in the Vedas.
