महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-2, verse-60

उच्छिष्टास्मीति मन्वाना लज्जिता भर्तुरेव च ।
तूष्णींभूताभवत्साध्वी न चोवाचाथ किंचन ॥६०॥
60. ucchiṣṭāsmīti manvānā lajjitā bhartureva ca ,
tūṣṇīṁbhūtābhavatsādhvī na covācātha kiṁcana.
60. ucchiṣṭā asmi iti manvānā lajjitā bhartuḥ eva ca
tūṣṇīmbhūtā abhavat sādhvī na ca uvāca atha kiñcana
60. Thinking, "I am impure (ucchiṣṭā)," and feeling ashamed, especially regarding her husband, that virtuous woman became silent and said nothing at all.
