महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-2, verse-68

सुरतं तेऽस्तु विप्राग्र्य प्रीतिर्हि परमा मम ।
गृहस्थस्य हि धर्मोऽग्र्यः संप्राप्तातिथिपूजनम् ॥६८॥
68. surataṁ te'stu viprāgrya prītirhi paramā mama ,
gṛhasthasya hi dharmo'gryaḥ saṁprāptātithipūjanam.

gṛhasthasya hi dharmaḥ agryaḥ samprāptātithipūjanam

68. May you be delighted, O foremost of Brahmins, for indeed, my joy is supreme. For a householder, the foremost duty (dharma) is the veneration of a guest who has arrived.
