महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-2, verse-69

अतिथिः पूजितो यस्य गृहस्थस्य तु गच्छति ।
नान्यस्तस्मात्परो धर्म इति प्राहुर्मनीषिणः ॥६९॥
69. atithiḥ pūjito yasya gṛhasthasya tu gacchati ,
nānyastasmātparo dharma iti prāhurmanīṣiṇaḥ.
69. atithiḥ pūjitaḥ yasya gṛhasthasya tu gacchati na
anyaḥ tasmāt paraḥ dharmaḥ iti prāhuḥ manīṣiṇaḥ
69. When a guest, having been honored, departs from a householder, the wise declare that there is no greater natural law (dharma) than that.
