एतां बुद्धिं समास्थाय विश्वामित्रो महामुनिः ।
तस्मिन्देशे प्रसुष्वाप पतितो यत्र भारत ॥४०॥

40. etāṁ buddhiṁ samāsthāya viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ ,
tasmindeśe prasuṣvāpa patito yatra bhārata.

40. Having adopted this resolve, the great sage (mahāmuni) Viśvāmitra then fell asleep in that place where he had collapsed, O Bhārata.
