महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-16, verse-86

तस्मिन्महेष्वासवरे विशस्ते संग्राममध्ये कुरुपुंगवेन ।
पार्थाः समेताः परमप्रहृष्टाः शङ्खान्प्रदध्मुर्हतमीक्ष्य शल्यम् ॥८६॥

86. When Śalya, that best of great archers, was slain in the midst of battle by Yudhiṣṭhira, the bull among the Kurus, the Pārthas (sons of Pṛthā), having seen him killed, assembled and, exceedingly joyful, blew their conch shells.
