महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-16, verse-18

ततो मुहूर्तादिव पार्थिवेन्द्रो लब्ध्वा संज्ञां क्रोधसंरक्तनेत्रः ।
शतेन पार्थं त्वरितो जघान सहस्रनेत्रप्रतिमप्रभावः ॥१८॥
18. tato muhūrtādiva pārthivendro; labdhvā saṁjñāṁ krodhasaṁraktanetraḥ ,
śatena pārthaṁ tvarito jaghāna; sahasranetrapratimaprabhāvaḥ.

18. Then, as if in a moment, the great king Shalya, having regained consciousness, his eyes red with rage, swiftly struck Partha (Yudhishthira) with a hundred arrows, displaying power comparable to that of Indra, the thousand-eyed one.
