युधिष्ठिरं मद्रपतिर्विद्ध्वा सिंह इवानदत् ॥१॥

Sañjaya said: Then, the king of Madra, taking another bow that was even more powerful and faster, roared like a lion after piercing Yudhiṣṭhira.
