महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-16, verse-64

तस्यापकृष्टशीर्षं तच्छरीरं पतितं रथात् ।
रुधिरेणावसिक्ताङ्गं दृष्ट्वा सैन्यमभज्यत ॥६४॥
64. tasyāpakṛṣṭaśīrṣaṁ taccharīraṁ patitaṁ rathāt ,
rudhireṇāvasiktāṅgaṁ dṛṣṭvā sainyamabhajyata.
64. tasya apakṛṣṭaśīrṣam tat śarīram patitam rathāt
rudhireṇa avasiktāṅgam dṛṣṭvā sainyam abhajyata

64. Upon seeing his body, with its head severed and limbs drenched in blood, fallen from the chariot, the army broke and fled.
