महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-16, verse-82

ततो युधिष्ठिरो राजा त्वरमाणो महारथः ।
चतुर्भिर्निजघानाश्वान्पत्रिभिः कृतवर्मणः ।
विव्याध गौतमं चापि षड्भिर्भल्लैः सुतेजनैः ॥८२॥
82. tato yudhiṣṭhiro rājā tvaramāṇo mahārathaḥ ,
caturbhirnijaghānāśvānpatribhiḥ kṛtavarmaṇaḥ ,
vivyādha gautamaṁ cāpi ṣaḍbhirbhallaiḥ sutejanaiḥ.
82. tataḥ yudhiṣṭhiraḥ rājā tvaramāṇaḥ
mahārathaḥ caturbhiḥ nijaghāna aśvān
patribhiḥ kṛtavarmaṇaḥ vivyādha gautamaṃ
ca api ṣaḍbhiḥ bhallaiḥ sutejanaiḥ
82. tataḥ rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ tvaramāṇaḥ
mahārathaḥ kṛtavarmaṇaḥ aśvān caturbhiḥ
patribhiḥ nijaghāna ca api gautamaṃ
ṣaḍbhiḥ sutejanaiḥ bhallaiḥ vivyādha
82. Then King Yudhiṣṭhira, the great warrior, swiftly struck down Kṛtavarman's horses with four feathered arrows. He also pierced Gautama (Kṛpācārya) with six very sharp, broad-headed arrows.
