महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-86, verse-56

समभ्याशगतस्याजौ तस्य खड्गेन दुर्मतेः ।
चिच्छेद कार्मुकं दीप्तं शरावापं च पञ्चकम् ॥५६॥
56. samabhyāśagatasyājau tasya khaḍgena durmateḥ ,
ciccheda kārmukaṁ dīptaṁ śarāvāpaṁ ca pañcakam.

ciccheda kārmukam dīptam śarāvāpam ca pañcakam
56. ājau [irāvān] khaḍgena samabhyāśagatasya durmateḥ

56. In that battle, with his sword, Iravan cut the shining bow and five arrows of that evil-minded demon who had come very close.
