महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-70, verse-64

अतोऽन्यथा नास्ति शान्तिर्नित्यमन्तरमन्ततः ।
अन्तरं लिप्समानानामयं दोषो निरन्तरः ॥६४॥

64. ato'nyathā nāsti śāntirnityamantaramantataḥ ,
antaraṁ lipsamānānāmayaṁ doṣo nirantaraḥ.

64. ataḥ anyathā na asti śāntiḥ nityam antaram antataḥ
| antaram lipsamānānām ayam doṣaḥ nirantaraḥ

64. Therefore, there is no peace (śānti) otherwise; constant internal division ultimately persists. This incessant flaw belongs to those who seek division.
