ह्रीमान्हि पापं प्रद्वेष्टि तस्य श्रीरभिवर्धते ।
श्रीमान्स यावद्भवति तावद्भवति पूरुषः ॥३६॥

36. hrīmānhi pāpaṁ pradveṣṭi tasya śrīrabhivardhate ,
śrīmānsa yāvadbhavati tāvadbhavati pūruṣaḥ.

36. hrīmān hi pāpam pradveṣṭi tasya śrīḥ abhivardhate
śrīmān sa yāvat bhavati tāvat bhavati pūruṣaḥ

36. Indeed, a modest person (hrīmat) despises evil, and his prosperity (śrī) increases. As long as he remains prosperous (śrīmat), so long does he remain a true person (puruṣa).
