वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-59, verse-96

न शशाक रुजं कर्तुं युधि तस्य नरोत्तमः ।
अथैनमभ्युपागम्य वायुर्वाक्यमुवाच ह ॥९६॥
96. na śaśāka rujaṃ kartuṃ yudhi tasya narottamaḥ ,
athainamabhyupāgamya vāyurvākyamuvāca ha.

atha enam abhyupāgamya vāyuḥ vākyam uvāca ha
96. narottamaḥ tasya rujam yudhi kartum na śaśāka

96. The best of men (Lakṣmaṇa) was unable to inflict any wound upon him (Atikaya) in battle. Then Vayu, the wind god, approached him and spoke these words.
