वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-59, verse-45

तत्तस्य वाक्यं ब्रुवतो निशम्य चुकोप सौमित्रिरमित्रहन्ता ।
अमृष्यमाणश्च समुत्पपात जग्राह चापं च ततः स्मयित्वा ॥४५॥
45. tattasya vākyaṃ bruvato niśamya cukopa saumitriramitrahantā ,
amṛṣyamāṇaśca samutpapāta jagrāha cāpaṃ ca tataḥ smayitvā.

cukopa saumitriḥ amitrahantā

45. Hearing those words from him, Saumitri, the slayer of foes, grew enraged. Unable to tolerate it, he sprang up and, then smiling, seized his bow.
