वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-59, verse-56

श्रुत्वातिकायस्य वचः सरोषं सगर्वितं संयति राजपुत्रः ।
स संचुकोपातिबलो बृहच्छ्रीरुवाच वाक्यं च ततो महार्थम् ॥५६॥
56. śrutvātikāyasya vacaḥ saroṣaṃ sagarvitaṃ saṃyati rājaputraḥ ,
sa saṃcukopātibalo bṛhacchrīruvāca vākyaṃ ca tato mahārtham.
56. śrutvā atikāyasya vacaḥ saroṣam
sagarvitam saṃyati rājaputraḥ
saḥ saṃcukopa atibalaḥ bṛhacchrīḥ
uvāca vākyam ca tataḥ mahārtham
56. Upon hearing Atikāya's angry and proud words on the battlefield, the prince (rājaputra), exceedingly powerful and greatly glorious, became very angry and then spoke highly significant words.
