तं ब्रह्मणो ऽस्त्रेण नियुज्य चापे शरं सुपुङ्खं यमदूतकल्पम् ।
सौमित्रिरिन्द्रारिसुतस्य तस्य ससर्ज बाणं युधि वज्रकल्पम् ॥१००॥
100. taṃ brahmaṇo'streṇa niyujya cāpe śaraṃ supuṅkhaṃ yamadūtakalpam ,
saumitririndrārisutasya tasya sasarja bāṇaṃ yudhi vajrakalpam.

100. Having fixed that well-feathered arrow, which was like a messenger of Yama, on his bow as a Brahma weapon, Lakshmana then shot that arrow, which was like a thunderbolt, at the son of Indra's enemy (Atikāya) in battle.
