वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-59, verse-68

ताञ् शरान् संप्रचिक्षेप लक्ष्मणाय निशाचरः ।
तानप्राप्ताञ् शरैस्तीक्ष्णैश्चिच्छेद भरतानुजः ॥६८॥
68. tāñ śarān saṃpracikṣepa lakṣmaṇāya niśācaraḥ ,
tānaprāptāñ śaraistīkṣṇaiściccheda bharatānujaḥ.

68. The night-wanderer (Atikaya) hurled those arrows at Lakshmana. Bharata's younger brother (Lakshmana) then cut them down with sharp arrows before they could reach (him).
