महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-155, verse-90

ततस्तं तीव्रतपसं कृशं धमनिसंततम् ।
पारगं सर्वधर्माणामार्ष्टिषेणमुपागमन् ॥९०॥
90. tatastaṁ tīvratapasaṁ kṛśaṁ dhamanisaṁtatam ,
pāragaṁ sarvadharmāṇāmārṣṭiṣeṇamupāgaman.
90. tataḥ tam tīvratapasam kṛśam dhamanisaṃtatam
pāragam sarvadharmāṇām ārṣṭiṣeṇam upāgaman
90. Then they approached Ārṣṭiṣeṇa, who was engaged in intense asceticism (tapas), emaciated, with veins prominent, and one who had mastered all natural laws (dharma).
