महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-155, verse-24

तेऽनुज्ञाता महात्मानः प्रययुर्दिशमुत्तराम् ।
कृष्णया सहिता वीरा ब्राह्मणैश्च महात्मभिः ।
तान्प्रस्थितानन्वगच्छद्वृषपर्वा महीपतिः ॥२४॥
24. te'nujñātā mahātmānaḥ prayayurdiśamuttarām ,
kṛṣṇayā sahitā vīrā brāhmaṇaiśca mahātmabhiḥ ,
tānprasthitānanvagacchadvṛṣaparvā mahīpatiḥ.

diśam uttarām kṛṣṇayā sahitāḥ vīrāḥ
brāhmaṇaiḥ ca mahātmabhiḥ tān prasthitān
anvagacchat vṛṣaparvā mahīpatiḥ
24. Having received permission, those noble-minded heroes departed towards the northern direction, accompanied by Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) and the great-souled Brahmins. King Vṛṣaparvan followed them as they set out.
