yasmāt sā sakalā devī saṃvit śaktiḥ jagatmayī (asti),

This is because she, the complete Goddess, is the power of consciousness (śakti) that pervades the universe. She is infinite, her pure form (śarīra) being the very sheath of the supreme (param) space (ākāśa).
