योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-81, verse-24

कालरात्रिरियं सेति मयानुमितदेहिका ।
काली भगवती सेयमितिनिर्णीतसज्जना ॥ २४ ॥
kālarātririyaṃ seti mayānumitadehikā ,
kālī bhagavatī seyamitinirṇītasajjanā 24
24. kālarātriḥ iyam sā iti mayā anumitadehikā
kālī bhagavatī sā iyam iti nirṇītasajjanā
24. iyam sā kālarātriḥ iti mayā anumitadehikā
iyam sā bhagavatī kālī iti nirṇītasajjanā
24. Thinking, 'This is Kalaratri,' I inferred her body. Yet, by the virtuous, she is decisively recognized as the divine (bhagavatī) Kālī.
