योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-81, verse-12

कृशाशक्ता यदा स्थातुं सुदीर्घा विधिना तदा ।
ग्रथितेव शिरारूपैर्दामभिर्दैर्घ्यशालिभिः ॥ १२ ॥
kṛśāśaktā yadā sthātuṃ sudīrghā vidhinā tadā ,
grathiteva śirārūpairdāmabhirdairghyaśālibhiḥ 12
12. kṛśā aśaktā yadā sthātum sudīrghā vidhinā tadā
grathitā iva śirārūpaiḥ dāmabhiḥ dairghyaśālibhiḥ
12. yadā kṛśā aśaktā sthātum,
tadā vidhinā sudīrghā (sā) śirārūpaiḥ dairghyaśālibhiḥ dāmabhiḥ grathitā iva (bhāti).
12. When she was emaciated and unable to stand, she was exceedingly long by her very nature (vidhinā). She appeared as if bound together by long cords in the form of sinews.
