अपाने शीतले सत्तामेत्युष्णः प्राणपावकः ।
प्रतिबिम्बमिवादर्शे स च तस्मिंस्तथैव हि ॥ ११२ ॥

112. When Apāna (the cool downward vital breath) is cool, the hot Prāṇa-fire attains existence within it, just as a reflection appears in a mirror. And indeed, that (Prāṇa-fire) likewise resides in that (Apāna).
