आगच्छतो यथाकामं प्रतिभासान्पुनः पुनः ।
अच्छिनन्मनसा शूरः खङ्गेनेव रणे रिपून् ॥ ४२ ॥

āgacchato yathākāmaṃ pratibhāsānpunaḥ punaḥ ,
acchinanmanasā śūraḥ khaṅgeneva raṇe ripūn 42

acchinat manasā śūraḥ khaṅgena iva raṇe ripūn

42. śūraḥ āgacchataḥ manasā yathākāmam punaḥ punaḥ
pratibhāsān acchinat iva khaṅgena raṇe ripūn

42. The brave one (śūraḥ), as he advanced, repeatedly severed with his mind (manas) the manifestations (pratibhāsa) that appeared at will, just as [one severs] enemies (ripu) with a sword in battle.
