योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-3

ॐकारमकरोत्तारस्वरमूर्ध्वगतध्वनिम् ।
सम्यगाहतलाङ्गूलं घण्टाकुण्डमिवारवम् ॥ ३ ॥

samyagāhatalāṅgūlaṃ ghaṇṭākuṇḍamivāravam 3

samyak āhata-lāṅgūlam ghaṇṭākuṇḍam iva āravam akarot.
3. He produced the Om sound (oṃkāra) with a high-pitched, upward-moving vibration, like the ringing sound from a bell (ghaṇṭā) when its clapper has been struck well.
